Field Engineering & Construction Management
We have some of the most experienced engineers working at Exper, both in engineering design and in the field. Not only do our engineers apply constructability into the design, they can also apply that knowledge and experience during the construction phase.
We act as the engineering representative on-site, dealing with the daily issues that arise and also help in the execution of the work before the bucket breaks ground.
As the Engineer of Record, we manage the contractor, monitor schedule, costs, answer RFI’s and when required make actual design changes in the field; minimizing impact to the contractor and schedule.

Hydraulic Modelling and Drainage Design
From residential development drainage networks for domestic sanitary and surface water systems, to complex drainage network models, our design team will not only design new systems, but are also able to review the hydraulics and capacities of existing drainage networks.
By building hydraulic models, our engineers can tailor the design to suit the project requirements and restrictions. The team use their experience to build models that map surface water run-off routes, catchment areas and calculate volumes and flows.
Using our suite of software, we combine survey data, scans and topographical aerial surveys as the design base for drainage networks. This ensures that the proposed design and network is laid out correctly, not only from an above overview, but also in 3D. Clashes with existing infrastructure are identified and the routing or layout revised.
With the the use of survey data, we are able to calculate drainage catchment areas and design surface water management controls, such as swales, ditches, culverts, sumps, storm basins and attenuation tanks.
Geotechnical Engineering
Exper can provide Geotechnical Services to support your project. Our Engineer’s will carry out the site investigation, assessment, and geotechnical design.
We are able to provide recommendations for side slopes, cut slopes, deep foundations, embankments, gravel pads, shallow foundations and retaining walls.
The consultancy can provide the geotechnical input required and tailor it to support projects with local specific recommendations, or project wide with a Geotechnical Design Basis (GDB).
Our engineer’s have the expertise to determine what geotechnical data is required for your project needs. Whether it be a simple trial hole or a new borehole, we will provide the most efficient way to obtain the data required to support the engineering design.
