Oil Gathering System

As the direct hire contractor, Exper was engaged by Chevron to provide expertise in the design of the Priority 1, 2 & 3 existing facility upgrades in the brownfield areas of the Tengiz oil field in Kazakhstan.
The brownfield scope was the extension and upgrade of the existing gathering system with new multi well pads and pipelines as part of the Future Growth Project.

Brownfield Gathering System Scope:

• Existing well pad upgrades with additional well heads and infrastructure

• Valve station upgrades and extensions

• Existing metering station upgrades and extensions

• Extension of the plant manifold facility

• New oil, gas and condensate pipelines from the well heads to the existing process plants

• Tie-ins and crossings

• Civil infrastructure

• Civil grading

• New access roads

• Fencing
