FGP Site Construction Compound

As a sub consultant to the project main contractor we were responsible for the early work scope package for main FGP project. The main scope of the early works project was the design of a contractors construction compound with a 600 person PMT building.

Scope for the construction compound:

• Layout of the plot for the 3km x 2km site

• Design of undergrounds, including the firewater system, potable water, electrical trenches, CCTV/communication trenches and hot water pipelines

• Access and service roads

• Sanitary drainage system

• Site grading and surface water management

• Building locations for the firewater pumphouse, canteen, PMT office, training center, warehouses and customs compound

• Tank areas with containment bunds

• Type 1 high security fencing and security control buildings and gates

• Tie-ins to existing utilities, pipelines and services

The project also required the management of sub contracted EPC contractors and the answering of construction RFI’s.
